Friday, May 15th, 2009Is Your Body Ready For Summertime, Columbus?!
Thursday, May 14th, 2009Winter is over. Spring is almost over. Bathing suit season will soon be upon us. Have you lost that holiday weight yet? Have you put on a little extra in the first five months of 2009?

Well if so don’t you think it’s about time to change? Are you ready to slip into that bikini this summer? Or take that shirt off at the pool without being embarrassed?

A good fitness routine will help you drop 4-8 pounds of unsightly body fat. But the most important aspect when it comes to losing body fat is intensity. It’s actually the most important factor weather or not your fitness program will be successful.
Now when it comes to intensity, nothing beats fitness bootcamps. Don’t expect to come into a class full of ‘easy’. ‘Easy’ is running on a treadmill for 30 minutes strait.
Bootcamp is 45 minutes of high-intensity intervals, weight training, abs, glutes, and thighs circuits. Everyday is different. It keeps the body guessing. Soreness is common. You get stronger faster and have fun. Again– you have fun while exercising.
But where do you find such a place in Columbus?
The premier bootcamp in Columbus is Yun Fitness Boot Camps (yunbootcamps.com), based out of Hilliard, OH.
The class is taught inside a Martial Arts Studio for the morning camps and outside for the evening classes. Classes include various types of people from all different walks of life. From age 14 up to early 60′s. Men, women, children, students. Two people even drive down every morning from Springfield for the camp. Yes, it’s that good.
The camp is taught by Jason Yun, who is also the owner of the company. He is a certified personal trainer and sports nutritionist. He adds even more to classes by providing his students nutrition handouts every week, and also has a 12-week nutrition course that has helped his students results skyrocket.
What makes people try this bootcamp workout? Like the various people in the class, the reasons are also different. Some have tried the Jenny Craig’s, Weight Watchers, Atkins, and every other diet under the sun and not seen results. Others can’t work out on their own, and need some motivation and accountability. Some can’t stand the gym and the same old boring routine. For others the gym is too intimidating for them.
The first impression you get from Yun’s bootcamp is a good one. For starters your first 2-weeks are free. Next each class starts off with a dynamic warmup– body weight movements to get the blood flowing to the major muscles and joints of the body. Hips, shoulders, knees, and low back need to be warmed for the pre-planned intervals to come. After about 6-12 minutes of intervals we move into the main workout of the day. Which will vary everyday but will include at least 6 different stations and/or exercise of varying difficulty. But all exercises are easily modified for beginners.
The program is guaranteed or your money back.
The next class starts May 26th. Spots will be limited for new campers and it is a first-come, first-served basis. So register online on soon as you can.

Hilliard, OH April 2, 2009– If you haven’t noticed by now the weather is getting a little warmer here in Columbus, OH. Probably has something to do with the changing of the seasons. It’s Spring! And you know what that means? Bathing suit season will be upon us in no time. But are you bathing suit ready? Yun Fitness Boot Camp will make sure you look your best in that bathing suit!
Jason Yun, the owner of Yun Boot Camps, has been running the camps since July last year and is preparing to take some of his morning camps and all of his evening camps back outside. ‘People really seem to love being outdoors to train. It brings out the true sense of bootcamp training in that it is supposed to be different and not feel like a typical gym workout,’ Yun says.
And the boot camp is hardly typical. April will mark the 4th phase of camps in 2009 for Yun and his campers and everyday is more different, fun, and challenging then the next. Exercises include squats, pushups, bear crawls, burpees, plyometrics, and list too big to name the rest. Equipment is a trademark at Yun’s Boot Camp with kettlebells, medicine balls, bands, agility ladders, sandbags, and starting in April sledgehammers, ropes, tornado balls, and kegs.

‘People don’t want boring. Training with different implements keeps the body fresh and also progressing. You never reach a plateau and you burn a lot more fat with boot camp training. If you train at my camp we’ll get you into bathing suit shape in no time!’ Yun claims.
Phase #4 of 2009 for Yun Fitness Boot Camp starts up 4/20/09. All new campers receive a free 2-week trial. To register go to Yunfitnessbootcamps.com or call 614-432-8743

Wednesday, April 8th, 20093rd Phase of Columbus’ Premier Weight Loss Bootcamp Now Registering
Wednesday, March 11th, 2009
The third phase of 2009 is about to get under way for Yun Fitness Bootcamps. 3 new class times are being added. A 9 am and 2 Express camps at 12:00 and 12:30. The new camps will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Jason Yun, the owner and head instructor, expects says ‘that camp spots are filling up rather quickly’.
Yun’s bootcamp has been around since July holding camps in Dublin and Hilliard. And is a quick 45-minute workout held 3 times a week. Participants, or as Yun calls them ‘Camp Superstars’, think the time just flies by. The mixture of fun games, activities combined with interval and weight training makes the time fly by.
‘The only people that seem to wish it were shorter are the newcomers,’ Yun says, ‘But that doesn’t last long. It only takes a couple weeks for a new camper to build up tremendous conditioning.’
And if you are new to Yun Fitness Bootcamps you’re in luck. Yun offers all new campers a chance to try it out free for two weeks. People will find out real quick if it is for them. Making it past the 2-weeks is a huge accomplishment, especially if someone has not been working out. . Only the truly motivated and committed make it through. And then you’re on your way to a healthier you, and you’ll start looking better naked in no time!
Yun offers 3 important tips when starting an exercise program:
1. Get Your Mind Right!
You have to mentally be ready for it. Change isn’t easy. So you can’t back out at the first sign of difficulty. Push through the wall and succeed!
2. Consistency
You have to do it on a consistent basis. Exercising here and there is not going to bring results—period! People do that all the time and eventually quit because their not getting results. Prioritize exercise. If you want to look good and feel good it needs to be scheduled just like you schedule a doctor’s visit or a haircut.
3. Effort
Goes back to consistency. Just showing up and putting in a half-ass effort isn’t going to bring results. The number 1 factor weather or not an exercise program is effective or drives results is—intensity. Intensity is how hard you are working. Just going through the motions will get you nothing.
The next Phase of Yun Fitness Bootcamps starts up on March 16, 2009. To register for your free 2-week trial go to http://YunTraining.com/2weeksfree.html. Or email JYun@YunBootcamps.com
