I read this book back in late 2008, and thought I should share it with you. It’s a wonderful reference that i keep going back to again and again. It’s called
‘The 150 Healthiest Foods on Earth: The Surprising, Unbiased Truth About What You Should Eat and Why’ by Jonny Bowden.
Like I said I keep going back to it again and again as I try and add new foods into my diet each month. Some foods I like, some I love, some not so much. But it’s fun trying new healthy foods that actually taste good, it keeps me sane, and I don’t feel the need to cheat on my diet (not that I do it too often).
It’s not a cookbook, either. He just goes over each food and tells you why you should be eating it. If your a fan of coffee, wine, and chocolate there in it too. And he also goes over foods that you shouldn’t be eating, or should be eating less of– soy being one. Check it out:
